Gresham College in the heart of Holborn, has been around for over 400 years.

They provides free public lectures that are led by some of the top professors and lecturers in that field. These lectures are on a variety of different topics such as art, politics and maths.

One New Change is perhaps known more for its shops and office space. But a lift up to the sixth floor sees a magnificent view of London and even better, a brilliant view of St Paul’s Cathedral.

Tour BBC’s Broadcasting House

How much: Prices range from £13.75 to £9.25

Arriving at Broadcasting House, I see a group of girls waiting outside Radio 1’s studios. People emerge. They’re from a band, but I don’t know which. I overhear them speaking in American accents and someone says that it is All Time Low. They’re taking pictures with those girls and one of them starts crying as the band member walks away. I’m not interested in said band, I have no idea who they are – perhaps they are All Time Low? As a journalism student, I found myself more interested in taking a picture of the entrance to Radio 1’s studio.
